Regina Ann “Tink” Massey, 56, of Bruce, passed this earthly life Wednesday, Sept. 20, 2017 surrounded by her loving family at Baptist Memorial Hospital Southaven. She was born April 28, 1961 in Selmer, TN and was preceded in death by her mother, Delphia Lucretia Fisher. Tink was a graduate of Bruce High School class of 1979 and was a teacher assistant at Bruce Elementary School for over 18 years. She was a active member of Mt. Comfort Baptist Church where she loved her church family and friends. She enjoyed crappie fishing and spending time with her family and participating with her elementary students and grandchildren’s activities.
Those left to honor her memory are her devoted husband, Terry Alan Massey, Bruce; daughters, Amanda (Chris) Gulledge, Bruce, Alicia Ann (T.J.) Pharr, Marietta; sisters, Pat Taylor, Tupelo; Velinda Rose (Charles) Diamond, Calhoun City; brothers, Ronnie David Wilkerson, Selmer, TN; Johnny (Becky) Fisher, Reinzi, and grandchildren, Fisher Gulledge, Lillie Ann Pharr, Emory Gulledge and Tripp Pharr.
Visitation will be Friday, Sept. 22 at Parker Memorial Funeral home from 5-8 p.m. Her funeral will be Saturday, Sept. 23 at 11 a.m. at the funeral home chapel with Dr. J.R. Eaton officiating. Burial will follow in Bruce Cemetery. Pallbearers will be Chris Gulledge, Shannon Massey, Teddy Joe Massey, T.J. Pharr, Clint Taylor, Marc Taylor, Chuck Wilkerson, and Josh Wilkerson.
Memorial donations may be made to a fund established at Bancorp South for Bruce Elementary School in honor of Tink Massey.
