Myriam Memorie Alley, 97, passed away December 17, 2017 at the Veterans Home in Oxford after a lengthy illness. She was born February 16, 1920 in Tacoma, Wa. to Joseph Guilford and Rebekah Torgersen Wescott. She was also preceded in death by her husband, Bro. Ira Alley. She was a member of Macedonia Baptist Church. She served her country in the U.S. Army during WWII.
She is survived by two daughters, Dottie Poling, Haines, AL and Judy Powers, Juno, AK.
Visitation is Wednesday, Dec. 20 from 2-3 p.m. and the funeral service will be at 3 at Parker Memorial Funeral Home Chapel with Bro. Dwight Brown officiating. Burial will be in Old Town Cemetery with Military Honors.
