Sherrie Annette Floyd, 45, of Big Creek, passed away Thursday, Aug. 2, 2018 at North Mississippi Medical Center in Tupelo. She was born August 23, 1972 in Memphis. She was a 1990 graduate of Grenada High School and attended Holmes Community College. She had previously worked at ADP and in the home health field.
Funeral services were Saturday at McKibben and Guinn Funeral Service with Rev. James Melton officiating. Interment was in Wayside Cemetery at Scobey.
She is survived by daughters, Ashley Floyd and Samantha (Will) Turner, Calhoun City; son, Justin (Kelsey) Floyd, Vardaman; father, Gene Pollan, Grenada; sisters, Donna Winders, Tillatoba; Terry Floyd, Duck Hill, and Cindy Knight, Smyrna, TN; grandchildren, Nelson Floyd, Lathan Floyd, Alyssa Turner, Braylyn Floyd, Lyle Turner, and her fiancé Billy Martin, Big Creek.
She was preceded in death by her mother, Margaret Barkley Pollan.
Pallbearers were Gary Barkley, Randy Barkley, Phillip Floyd, Colby Hipp, Cody Pollan and Curt Pollan. Honorary pallbearers were Matthew and Russell Barkley.
