Mark Yarbrough, 60, of Oxford, passed away September 3, 2018, at NMMC in Tupelo. Visitation is Wednesday, Sept. 5 from 9- 11 a.m. with a funeral service to follow at 11 at Coleman Funeral Home in Oxford. Interment will follow the service at Shiloh Cemetery, CR 429, Oxford.

He was born in Water Valley in October of 1957. He enjoyed spending time with his family and fishing. He would fish all day, if able to do so, and Crappie was his favorite type of fish to go after. He also enjoyed wading, setting trot lines, and grabbling. When not fishing, one could find him hunting. He was a skilled hunter--deer and rabbit where two of his favorites. He also enjoyed gardening. He had a green thumb and his family would partake in the fruits of his labor. He did everything he could for his family--provided, fed, cared for, and loved. The most important thing he did in his life was tell others of how Jesus provided for him and those he cared about. He  wanted all to know what Jesus had done for him.

He is survived by his loving wife, Annette Yarbrough; sons, Philip (Jana) Denning and Jeremy Yarbrough; granddaughter, Addy Kate Denning; father, Sam Yarbrough; brothers, Scott (Donna) Yarbrough, Dave (Linda) Yarbrough, and Steve (Terry) Yarbrough; sister, Milinda (Frankie) McCord, all of Oxford; and a host of nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his mother, Mary Joyce Yarbrough, and brother, Phil (Vickie) Yarbrough.

Donations and memorials in his honor  may be made to the donor’s choice of the American Cancer Society (www.cancer.org) or St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital (www.stjude.org)

Online condolences may be left  at www.colemanfuneralhome.com.
