E.O. Boyle, Jr., 77, of Coffeeville, passed away Friday, Aug. 2, 2019 at his residence. He was born May 1, 1942 in Yalobusha County to E.O. and Maggie Jones Boyle. He retired from the automobile industry after 35 years. He was a member of New Hope Baptist Church. E.O. was an avid hunter and fisherman.
His funeral service was Sunday at McKibben and Guinn Funeral Service in Grenada with Rev. Truman Scarborough and Rev. Billy Hill officiating. Interment was in Coffeeville Cemetery
Survivors include his wife, Eleanor Fly Boyle, Coffeeville; daughter, Lisa (Roger) Long, Gore Springs; son, Bryan K. “Skeeter” (Amy) Boyle, Holly Springs; granddaughters, Audra (Jack) Allen, Winterville, NC and Ciara (Zach) Gooch, Holly Springs; great granddaughters, Mattie Kate and Molly Karoline Allen, Winterville, NC; brother, Ralph Boyle, Vicksburg; sisters, Margaret Sawner, Olive Branch, and Mary Alice Pharr, Vicksburg, and special niece, Dianne McCormick, Arkansas.
He was preceded in death by his parents; sons, Tony and E.O. Boyle III; sister, Aline Martin, and brothers, Tommy, Frank Allen and Jim Boyle.
Pallbearers were Jack Allen, James Boyle, Mike Boyle, Chris Graham, Terry Jones and Luke Purdy.
