Arthur Curtis Williams, 86, died July 31, 2019 at Diversicare of Eupora. Born February 8, 1933, in Bolivar County, he was the son of Arthur Douglas and Etoliah Allday Williams. He attended Slate Springs High School. He worked as a contractor and built many commercial and educational buildings around the country. He loved talking and entertaining his friends. He will be missed dearly by all who knew him, but his memory will be cherished in their hearts forever.
His funeral service was Friday at Pryor Funeral Home with Bro. Bob Cook officiating. Interment was at Bethany Cemetery in Slate Springs. Pallbearers were Danny Hodge, Durwayne Hodge, Mickey Hodge, Larry Taylor and Chris Morter.
He leaves his brother, Shelton (Marilyn) Williams, Slate Springs; step-son, Bud (Stina) Taylor, Calhoun City; step-daughter, Jean Grafe (Robert) Arrington, Waynesboro; step-granddaughter, Dottie Taylor Haynes, Coldwater; great-grandchildren, Shayne Collins, Coldwater; Tommy Grafe, SC, and Sherry Grafe, Southaven. He was preceded in death by his parents, wife, Mary L. Williams; brother, Boyd Williams and sisters, Bertha Williams Hodge and Barbara Williams Morter.
