Albert Allen Cooper, 63, passed away Sunday, March 1, 2020 at NMMC Hospice in Tupelo. He was born in Vardaman to Albert and Ruth Ell Cooper June 11, 1956. He was married to Virginia a short time before her death. He enjoyed being outside fishing, hunting, and gardening until his health declined. He was a member of Old Town Baptist Church. He loved being a uncle to his nieces and nephews.
A celebration of life is Friday, Mar. 6 at 2 p.m. at Jesus is Lord Church in Vardaman with Bro. Johnny Davidson officiating. Visitation with family will begin at 1 at Jesus is Lord Church until service at 2.
He is survived by his son David Allen Cooper, Derma; daughter, Kim Cooper, Vardaman; sisters, Janie Russell, Pontotoc, and Carol Johnson, Vardaman; brothers, Bobby Joe Cooper, Vardaman; Tommy and Richard Cooper both of Houston, and five grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Albert and Ruth Cooper; wife, Virginia Cooper; brother, Henry Cooper; sister, Glenda Cooper, and one grandchild.
Southern Funeral Chapel of Houston is serving his family during this time.
