Danner Lee Tedder, 22, of Houlka, departed for his eternal home of rest May 1, 2020 after a car accident. Born in Tupelo December 14, 1997, he was the eldest son of Christopher Scott and Mary Joy Reynolds Tedder.
Danner was a 2016 graduate of the Calhoun Academy where he was a star football player. Upon his high school graduation, he continued his education at Northwest Mississippi Community College and Mississippi State University where he majored in history. A history buff, he thoroughly enjoyed Civil War reenactments. Aside from history, he was an avid football fan who loved cheering on the Ole Miss Rebels. Like most young men, he enjoyed spending quality time with his closest friends. He found leisure in the serenity of the woods where he could be found deer hunting. This sweet spirited, hardworking young man will be remembered by his character and deeds to others. He actively worshiped at Midway Baptist Church.
Danner leaves a loving family and circle of friends to carry his precious memory, parents, Chris and Mary Joy Tedder; brothers, George Dean and Jackson Blue Tedder; paternal grandfather, Lee Tedder, Vardaman; paternal grandmother, Beth Nichols, Thorn; great grandparents, Dean and Mary Holder, Houston, and special friend, Casey Moss of Bruce. He was preceded in death by his grandparents; Mitzi Coleman, Doyle Reynolds and Mug Finn.
His graveside service was Sunday in Midway Cemetery in Vardaman with Bro. Al Gaspard and Bro. Roger Reeder officiating. Preston Blue, Cal Brown, Riley Dotson, Todd Harrell, Bailey Nix, Dalton Poynor, Scott Shankle, Forest Shoemaker and Beau Walker carried Danner to his final resting place.
