Sara N. Brown, 86, of Bruce, died Monday, June 30, 2014, at Bruce Community Living Center. She was born June 27, 1928, the daughter of the late Ellis Ivy and the late Lura Crocker Ivy. She was the wife of the late R.B. Brown. She was a member of Church of God and she was a homemaker.
Surviving are sons, Ray (Shirley) Brown, Auburn, AL; Johnny (Kathy) Brown, Horn Lake; Dean (Adele) Brown, Fair Hope, AL and Tommy Brown, Vicksburg; daughters, Scottie Casey, Oxford; Teresa Kingsley, Farmer Branch, TX and Shelia (Larry) Sanders, Ecru; sisters, Wilma Bailey, Bruce, and Linda Smith, Derma; 16 grandchildren and 17 great grandchildren. She was preceded by a son, Sammy Brown.
Her funeral service will be today, Wednesday, at 2 p.m. at Parker Memorial Funeral Home Chapel with the Bro. Kenneth Rhea officiating. Interment will be in Mt. Moriah Cemetery in Bruce. The family will receive friends from noon until 2 p.m. at Parker Memorial Funeral Home.
