Barbara Sue Murk, 72, of Bruce, died Saturday, Feb. 7, 2015, at her residence. Born April 19, 1942 in Ethel, she was the daughter of the late Marvin Moorhead and the late Belva Shoemaker Moorhead. She was the wife of the late Billy Murk. She was a retired floral designer for The Grapevine, and a member of Mt. Comfort Baptist Chruch.
Surviving are daughters, Kim Davidson, Bruce, and Kellie (Mike) Byars. Saltillo; grandchildren, Jeremy (Shonda) Yarbrough, Briana P. (Justin) Murphree, Mallory Ward, Jared Ward, Toni Byars and Kevin Byars, and six great grandchildren. She was preceeded in death by daughter, Kerry Heinz, brother, Jimmy Clarence Moorhead, sister, Dorothy Hensley.
Her funeral service will be Thursday at 2 p.m. at Parker Memorial Funeral Home Chapel with the Bro. Darrell Logan officiating. Burial will be in Bruce Cemetery. Pallbearers will be Kevin Byars, Timmy Mayhan, Justin Murphree, Jared Ward, Cameron Yarbrough and Jeremy Yarbrough.
