Lillian G. Hamilton, 101, of Pittsboro, died Saturday, Feb. 14, 2015 at Bruce Community Living Center in Bruce. She was born August 16, 1913 in Arkansas to Thad Vanlandingham and Maude Duncan. She was a homemaker and a member of Mt. Comfort Baptist Church.
Her funeral service was Sunday, Feb. 15, 2015 at 2 p.m. at Pryor Funeral Home in Calhoun City with Bro. J.R. Eaton officiating. Burial was in New Providence Cemetery in Calhoun City. Pryor Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements. Pallbearers were Tim Harrelson, Timothy Harrelson, Mark Harrelson, Phil Hamilton, Joe Hedrick and David Collums.
She is survived by daughter, Nell Harrelson, Bruce; son, Jimmy (Doris) Hamilton, Noxapater; sister-in-law, Martha Hamilton, Pittsboro; 10 grandchildren, 18 great-grandchildren, and 26 great-great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband, one son, parents, three sisters, and two brothers.
