Poe Turner

Clinton Lee “Poe” Turner, 75 of Banner, died Friday, May 8, 2015, at Calhoun Health Services Hospital in Calhoun City. Born February 26, 1940 in Coffeeville, he was the son of the late James ReabornTurner and the late Mary Shepard Turner. He was the husband of Beverly Davis Turner. He was a retired self-employed truck driver. 

Surviving are sons, Junior Turner, Bruce; Josh Reece, Bruce, and Tony Bond, Eads, TN; daughters, Donna Bynum, Bruce; Debbie Kitchens, Pine Bluff, AR; Brandy Reece, Coffeeville, and Amanda Reece, Bruce; brothers, Kelly Turner, Southaven, and Red Turner, Bruce. He was predeceased by sons, Mitchell Turner and Lynn Turner, brothers, James Turner, Big Red Turner, Jimmy Turner and Joe Turner, sisters, Johnnie Faye Walls and Mary Lynn Newsom.

His funeral service was Sunday at 2 p.m.   at Parker Memorial Funeral Home Chapel with the Bro. Robert Earl Alexander officiating. Interment was in Memory Memorial Garden, Bruce. Pallbearers were Josh Bynum, Brad Cole, Austin Ledbetter, Kytan Reece, Dustin Turner, Joey Turner and Tony Woodard. Honorary pallbearers were Freddie Buchanan, Joe Cowsert, Johnny Faison, and all of Poe’s Picking Friends.
