Anita Jane McAlpine, 83, Haleyville, Al. passed away Monday June 15, 2015 at her home. She was born in Booneville, MS., and was a graduate of University of Southern Mississippi. She was a strong Christian Lady, she was a member of First United Methodist Church in Haleyville, she was also remembered by most everyone as very active in the “Card Ministry”.
Her visitation will be Wednesday, June 17, 2015 at Pinkard Funeral Home-Haleyville from 6-8 PM, with her funeral on Wednesday June 18, 2015 at 11 AM in the chapel, with Bro. Terry Bentley officiating, with burial to follow at Winston Memorial Cemetery.
She is survived by her sons, Davis A. “Dave” McAlpine, his wife Susan, and Frank M. “Mac” McAlpine, Jr., his wife Beth; grandchildren, Jessica Lynn McAlpine, Will Hughes Romine, his wife Christie Lee, Frank “Wyn” McAlpine, IV and Charles Scott McAlpine; great granddaughters, Emme and Andi Romine; her church members at FUMC in Haleyville.
She was preceded in death by her parents, James Vernon and Gladys Rugg Davis; husband, Frank McAlpine; brother, James V. Davis, Jr.; granddaughter, Misty Elizabeth Romine.
