Hattie Bell Russell Malone, 87, of Calhoun City, died Friday, August 14, 2015 at Calhoun Health Services Nursing Home in Calhoun City. She was born October 2, 1927 in Calhoun County, the daughter of Everette and Bertha Hollis Russell. She was a homemaker and member of Pleasant Hill Baptist Church.

Her funeral service was Sunday, August 16, 2015 at 2 p.m. at Pryor Funeral Home Chapel in Calhoun City with Bro. Joe Russell and Bro. Jimmy Vance officiating. Burial was in Pleasant Hill Cemetery in Calhoun City. Pallbearers were Parker Terry, Keith Parker, Michael Parker, Chris Parker, Wesley Davis and Jesse Parker. Honorary pallbearers were Nelson Parker, Dakota King, Dalton Humphries, Everette Parker and Dylan Chandler.

She is survived by her husband, Lynn Malone, Calhoun City; two sons, Sidney (Peggy) Parker, Calhoun City; Earl (Judy) Parker, Calhoun City; one sister, Jessie Mae Howell, Calhoun City; one brother, Billy (Dixie) Russell, Calhoun City; seven grandchildren, Michael (Camille) Parker, Holcomb; Tammy (Chris) Terry, Calhoun City; Mitzi Vaughan, Anchorage, AK; Tina (Cole) Davis; Everette (Christie) Parker, Calhoun City; Chris (Trish) Parker, Calhoun City; Jess (Kayla) Parker, Starkville; 17 great-grandchildren and host of nieces, nephews, cousins and loved ones. She was preceded in death by one son, Jesse Russell Parker; five brothers, Skoot, Joe Lee, Calvin, Larry and Robert Russell, and her parents.
