Edward Lynn Malone, 88, went to his heavenly home Thursday, June 16, 2016 at Calhoun Health Services in Calhoun City. He was born July 21, 1927 in Carrolton, the son of Finace Malone and Nannie Watson. He was a retired truck driver and a member of Pleasant Hill Baptist Church.
Funeral service will be Saturday, June 18 at 2 p.m. at Pryor Funeral Home Chapel with Bro. Joe Russell officiating. Visitation will be Saturday, June 18 from noon until service time at the funeral home. Burial will be at Pleasant Hill Cemetery in Calhoun City. Pryor Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
Pallbearers are Terry Malone, Pee Wee Malone, Barry Bennett, Keith Parker, Parker Terry and Michael Parker.
Honorary pallbearers are Wesley Davis, Nelson Parker, Chris Terry and Everette Parker.
He is survived by his daughter, Linda Crocker, Senatobia; two sons, Sidney (Peggy) Parker, Calhoun City and Robert (Judy) Parker, Vardaman; 10 Grandchildren and 16 Great-Grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his parents, wife, Hattie Malone, twin daughters, two brothers and two sisters.
