Terie Davis VanStralen, 61, of Olive Branch, went to her heavenly home Wednesday, Oct. 5, 2016 at Trinity Mission Health and Rehab in Holly Springs. She was born August 17, 1955 in Randolph, the daughter of Willard Davis, Sr. and Myrtice Craig Davis. She was a nurse at Homechoice Health Services, and a member of Calhoun City First Baptist Church.
A memorial service was held Saturday, Oct. 8 at 1 p.m. at New Gauley Freewill Baptist Church with Bro. Nathaniel Rios officiating. Interment was in County Line Cemetery in Randolph. Pryor Funeral Home was charge of arrangements.
She is survived by her husband Errol VanStralen, Olive Branch; son, Matthew Craig (Ashley) Long and daughter, Holly Leanna Long Calhoun City; two brothers, William “Buddy” (Patema) Davis, New Gauley, and William “Lee” Davis, Grenada; five sisters, Mary Patricia Boyd, Vardaman; Wanda Owen, Water Valley; Brenda Myrdock, Sandra Williams, Camilla Davis, all of Kenton, TN, and two grandchildren, Ever Alianna and Knight Cultin. She was preceded in death by her parents and grandson, Samuel Long.
