Curtis Wayne Britt, 65, went to his heavenly home Sunday, Oct. 9, 2016 at his home in Duck Hill. He was born July 9, 1951 in Grenada County, the son of Otis Wayne Britt and the late Eva Barbara Marter. He was retired from Heatcraft in Grenada and a member of Gore Springs Baptist Church.
Funeral services will be Tuesday, Oct. 11 at 2 p.m. at Pryor Funeral Home in Calhoun City with Bro. Albert Britt officiating. Interment will be at Parker Cemetery in Alva with a visitation from noon until service time at the funeral home.
Pallbearers will be Ray Britt, Sydney Hendricks, Durwayne Hodge, Danny Hodge, Doug Alexander and Chuck Dunn. Honorary pallbearers are Daniel Cruse and Steve Sykes.
He is survived by his sister, Sheri Britt (Charles) Spencer, Collierville, TN; step-sisters, Shirley Roberson, Florence, and Joy (Gary) Tippit, Enid; brother, Chris (Tonya) Marter, Gore Springs, and step-brother, Clifford “Buddy” Marter, Jackson; one niece, Marlie Kristin Marter and one nephew, Randy McKenzie Marter.He was preceded in death by his parents.
