Bobby Ray Hall, 84, died October 15, 2016 at his residence, surrounded by his loved ones. He was born in Calhoun County June 21, 1932 to Robert Lee and Birdie Mae Lee Hall. He graduated from Bruce High School and served in the U.S. Army during the Korean Conflict. He was a member of Westside Baptist Church in Bruce. He was a former employee of Kellwood Company of Oxford, where he worked over 28 years in the cutting department as a supervisor. After his work at Kellwood he worked for Con-Agri in Water Valley. He was a cattle farmer and avid outdoorsman but his greatest love was his family and friends.
Survived are his wife, Grace Neal Hall, Bruce; daughter, Beverly (Rickey) Hyde, Bruce; sisters, Inis Roane, Cuvis Tyler and Elsie Mize, all of Bruce; a brother, Billy (Lou) Hall, Bruce; three grandchildren, Rickey Jason (Kayla) Hyde Jr., Braden Ray Hyde and Kimberly (Matthew) Evans, and three great-grandchildren, Jason Tyler Hyde, Caleb Jase Hyde and John Dalton Evans.He was preceded in death by his sister, Laudis Roane and three nephews, Tommy Lee Mize, E.W. Roane and Paul Ray Tyler.
Funeral services will be Monday, Oct. 17, 2016 at 2 p.m. at Parker Memorial Funeral Home Chapel with Judge Henry Lackey, Bro. Gerald Finley, Bro. David Poynor and Bro. Reece Ward officiating. Burial and final resting place will be in Antioch Cemetery.
Pallbearers will be James Barbee, Herbert Dickson, Clint Dishman, Jerry Logan, Luke Mayhan, Barry Vanlandingham, Nelson Vanlandingham and Jimmy Webb. Serving as honorary pallbearers Junior Babb, Bro. Donnie Finley, Mallon Henry, Vernon Jones, Buck Langford and David Longest.
Visitation will be Monday, October 17, 2016 from 12:00 P.M. till service time.
