David Lee Tutor, 43, passed away Wednesday, Oct. 26, 2016, at Baptist Memorial Hospital in Oxford, following extended illness. He was born in Bruce to Cynthia Tutor Bailey, December 14, 1973, and was a member of the Church of the Lord Jesus Christ in Vardaman.
Funeral services were Saturday at 2 p.m. at Southern Funeral Chapel in Houston, with Bro. Robert Earl Alexander and Bro. Patrick Black officiating. Burial was in Poplar Springs Cemetery in Calhoun County.
He is survived by his mother Cynthia Bailey, Houlka; sister Cindy (David) Haire; brother, Gary Hester; two nieces Megan and Monica Haire, all of Houlka; aunts Cindy Voyles, Vardaman, and Maggie (Joe) Haire, Houlka; uncles James (Twilene) Tutor, Pontotoc; Jimmy, Thomas, Bobby and Chester Tutor, all of Houlka, and eight cousins.
He was preceded in death by grandparents Bob and Audie Tutor, and uncles Harrison Tutor and George Tutor.
