Frances Amelia Doler, 79, of Calhoun City, passed away surrounded by her family on Thursday, Feb. 23, 2017, at her residence. She was a member of Calhoun City First Baptist Church. She was a retired legal secretary for Moore & Moore Attorneys in Calhoun City and was active in fundraising and maintaining for the Calhoun City Cemetery. She was born in Webster County on April 9, 1937, the daughter of Hollin and Annie Bingham Webb.
Her funeral service will take place Sunday at 3 p.m. at Calhoun City First Baptist Church with Bro. Mike Smith officiating and Bro. Jimmy Vance assisting. Burial will be in Calhoun City Cemetery. Pallbearers will be Michael John Denley, Catlin Doler, Jody Doler, Kevin Doler, Dale Hays, and Brad Webb. Honorary pallbearers will be deacons of Calhoun City First Baptist Church, and the Sunday School Class of Dr. Jimmy Gage Dobbs.
The family will receive friends Saturday from 5-8 p.m. at First Baptist Church in calhoun City.
She will be sadly missed by her husband Jasper Wray Doler, Calhoun City; daughters, Amelia Dawn (Steve) Smith, Florence, AL and Amanda Leigh (Chris) Long, Calhoun City; brother, George Bradford (Joyce) Webb, Oxford; sister, Hollene Temple, Tupelo; grandchildren, Wesley Bryant Long, Hannah Nicole Long and Stephanie Amelia Smith; great grandchildren, Braysen Ray Greenhill and Bennett Wray Smith.
