Robert Bradley Stone, 58, passed away on June 9, 2018 at North Mississippi Regional Center in Oxford. Known as Brad to his family, he was born August 4, 1958 to Robert Earl and Cathy Peeples Stone in Banner.
Although Brad’s world was different than ours, he wanted the same simple rewards most of us seek in our busy lives, which was a smile and maybe a loving touch. He would always cherish his memories of what he learned and the time spent at his home. Although his family is grieving as he is called home, they take solace and comfort in knowing that he has been called to a different home now, a new home in which he has an opportunity to learn new things and create new smiles that he couldn’t do on this earth. May this angel among us rest in eternal peace.
Brad leaves behind his mother, Cathy Peeples Stone, Banner; brother, Allen (Andy) Stone, Banner; sisters Gwen (Paul) Mann, Banner and Pam (Joe) Mize, Water Valley; four nephews and one niece.
A funeral service honoring Brad’s life will be Monday, June 11 in the chapel of the funeral home. Brother Darrell Logan will officiate the service, with Bro. Johnny Stewart assisting.
He will be laid to rest in Providence Cemetery, with Brother Larry Wicker providing prayers. Pallbearers will be Bradley Edwards, Roy Geoghegan, Paul Mann, Ricky Peeples, Ricky Murphree and Timmy Mayhan.
