John Wayne Steed Died September 19, 2019 at his home in Greenwood.He was born June 27, 1947 to Rubin and Maurene Burroughs Steed in Louisville. He was born a Baptist. He was the owner of Steed Roofing in Greenwood.
He is survived by his son, John Steed, Lake Village, Ar.; daughter, Leslie Steed, Greenwood; step-children, Shander Weldon and Jamie Winters, Greenwood; eight grandchildren; one great grandchild; sisters, Janice Lafayette, Randolph; Chandra Baggett, Gauley; Wanda Hughes and Dinah King, Big Creek.
He was preceded in death by his parents; wife, Donna, and brothers, Kenneth, David, Rayford and Gary Steed.
Services will be at a later date under the direction of William and Lord Funeral Home in Greenwood.
