Rita Suzanne Cannon, 53, of Calhoun City, passed away December 31, 2019 at Baptist Nursing Home in Calhoun City.
She was born August 5, 1966 in Grenada to Samuel Caruthers “Dock” and Martha Ann Jackson Herbert.
She worked for many years in the Accounts Payable Department at Heatcraft in Grenada and was a member of Enon Baptist Church.
Funeral services were January 3 at McKibben and Guinn Funeral Service with Rev. Kenneth Armstrong officiating. Interment was in Bethel Cemetery in Carroll County.
Survivors include daughter, Anna Claire Cannon, Calhoun City; son, Kyle Cannon, Calhoun City; nephews, Chase and Cham (Lacy) Herbert, and aunt, Eunice Marjorie Herbert. She was preceded in death by her parents, and brother, Jeffrey Kent Herbert.
Pallbearers were Brannon Armstrong, Klint Byars, Craigg Cannon, Hunter Harris, Cham Herbert and Chase Herbert.
