John David Williams, 78, of Vardaman, passed away at his home Friday, Apr. 17, 2020. Born February 6, 1942, in Missouri, he was the son of William and Francis Williams.
He is preceded in death by his parents; 10 sisters; one brother; sons, Jason and Wade Williams, and granddaughter, Anna Williams.
He had a fun loving personality, and a wonderful sense of humor. He enjoyed fishing, gardening, selling and trading cars, piddling around in his yard and junk yard, cooking, watching movies, playing dominos, and spending time with his family.
A graveside service honoring his life was Monday, at Calhoun City Cemetery.
Pallbearers were Nick McGreger, Jaylon Williams, Lee Baker, Brandon “Chubby’ Williams, Lee Tallent, Jerry Black and Rudy Williams.
He leaves children, Dave (Jenny) Williams, and Cathy (Carl) Baker, both of Vardaman; grandchildren, Tyler Williams, BreeAnna (Chris) Hilmus, Chelsea (Nick) McGreger, Brandon “Chubby” Williams, Jaylon Williams, John Robert Williams, all of Vardaman; Lee (Lawanda) Baker, Mantee; Lyndsie Williams, Virginia Beach, VA., and Sara Beth Thomas, West Memphis, AR; and great grands, Shylynn and Kinlynn McGreger, Leah and Jennifer Baker, and Blaize and Jason Williams.
