Sarah F. House, 88, of West Memphis, AR, passed away in her home May 25, 2020. She was born on January 28, 1932, in Slate Springs, to Irby and Connie Patterson.
She was preceded in death by her parents; loving husband, J. O. “Buddy” House; sister, Kathryn Langston, and brother Winfred Patterson.
Those left behind to cherish her memory are her sons, Randy House,, Marion, AR and Jeff (Pam) House, Rogers, AR; daughter, Paula (Danny) Miller, Poolville, TX; grandchildren, Meredith Miller, Matt (Megan) Miller, Mallory (Chip) Roeder, Hunter (Alex) House, Ben House, Brandon (Amber) House; great grandchildren, Emery, Harper, Lilah, Selah, Elsah, Axel, Iris, Hank, Duke, Bill, and her sister, Ann Porch, Jacksonville, FL.
She was a talented player for Northwest Mississippi Community College Rangers as a guard. She was a faithful member of First Baptist Church of West Memphis, and member of the “20 Club.” She was known for being the most loving, giving person you could ever meet. When she wasn’t busy loving and doting on her family, she was an avid fan of the Memphis Tigers and Memphis Grizzlies, and when the games were on, everyone knew not to bother her.
Visitation will be at Crittenden Memorial Park Pavilion, 2206 US-64, Marion, AR, Saturday, May 30, 2020, from 12:30 to 1:00 PM, with a graveside service immediately following.
