Rubert Ovid Kimbrough, 89, of Calhoun City, died April 7, 2014 at North MS Medical Center in Tupelo. He was born March 22, 1925 in Van Vleet, the son of Robert Kimbrough and Willie Turman Kimbrough. He was a retired maintenance foreman for C.H. Services, and was a member of Calhoun City First Baptist Church. He was a World War II Army, and Korea Air Force Veteran. He was a member of American Legion, VFW, and he was a Mason. Survivors include his wife, Orby Jean Hill Kimbrough, Calhoun City; one daughter, Jeanne Frye, Columbus; two sons, Tony Kimbrough and Joey Kimbrough, both of Calhoun City, and four grandchildren. Visitation will be Wednesday, April 9 from noon until time of the funeral service at 2 p.m. at Calhoun City First Baptist Church with Bro. Mike Smith and Bro. Wayne Gullett officiating. Burial will be in Pinecrest Memorial Gardens in Calhoun City.
