Burnice Armstrong

Burnice Armstrong, 88 of Southaven,  died Tuesday, Sept. 30, 2014, at her son’s residence in Southaven. Born December 17, 1925, she was the daughter of the late Marvin Turner and Dora Culver Turner. She was the wife of the late Rubell D. Armstrong. She was a seamstress, and a member of Church of God. 

Surviving are sons, Joe Armstrong, Southaven, and Bernard (Pamela) Armstrong, Olive Branch; daughters, Sandra (Steve) Brandon, Byhalia, and Denise Miller, Southaven; brother, Wesley Turner, Memphis; sister, Edna Vanlandingham, Decatur, AL, 10 grandchildren and 20 great-grandchildren. Her funeral service will be Friday at 2 p.m. at Parker Memorial Funeral Home Chapel in Bruce with Bro. Calvin Price officiating. Interment will be in Bruce Cemetery.
