Michael McMahan, 61, of Bruce, died Saturday, Oct. 11, 2014, at Calhoun Health Services in
Calhoun City. He was born Monday, April 6, 1953 in Clarksdale, the son of the late Joe Oliver McMahan and Ruby
Ruth Johnson McMahan Raulston. He was a farmer. 
Surviving are his wife, Edna Ruth McMahan, Bruce; a son, Allen (Carla) Blackwelder, Bruce; grandsons, Hayden McCostlin and Bryce Blackwelder, Bruce; brothers, Wayne (Trisha) McMahan, Calhoun City,
and Jamie (Mary) McMahan, Schererville, IL; sisters, Bobbie Krantz, Galveston, TX and Linda (Jimmy) Gaskin,
Big Creek.
He was preceded in death his parents, by brothers, Harold McMahan and David McMahan, and a sister, Sandra
McMahan.
His funeral service will be Tuesday at 2 p.m. t Parker Memorial Funeral Home Chapel with
Bro. Jamie McMahan and Dr. Daniel Hathorne officiating. Interment will be in Rocky Mount Cemetery, Pittsboro. Pallbearers will be Jim Gaskin Jr., Jerry Inmon, Andrew Landreth, Andy Landreth, David McMahan and Jim Taylor. Honorary pallbearers will be Mac Burnett, Larry Collins, Don Countiss, Billy Lee, BP Coffee Drinkers, Joe
Tunnell, Joe Boy Tunnell and Kurt Tunnell.
The family will receive friends Tuesday, Oct. 14 noon until time of the service at Parker Memorial Funeral
Home.
