Robert Wayne Gordon, 93 of Bruce, died Tuesday, May 12, 2015, at North Mississippi Medical Center in Tupelo. Born March 9, 1922 in Memphis, he was the husband of the late Kathe Guddat Gordon. He was retired from the U.S. Army. He served as a Chief Warrant Officer in the Army from 1942 until 1972. He was a Veteran of Vietnam, Korea, and World War II. He was a member of Banner Baptist Church.
Surviving are daughters, Brigitti Jorgeson of Charlotte, NC and Deborah Rodrique of Reeds Spring, MO. He was preceeded in death by his son, Michael Wayne Gordon; his parents, William F. Gordon, and Viola Tilton Gordon.
The family will receive friends Friday from noon until time of his funeral service at 2 p.m. at Parker Memorial Funeral Home. Bro. Jackie Douglas will be officiating. Interment will be in Bruce Cemetery.
