Bertha Casey, 90, of Bruce, died Tuesday, May 12, 2015, at Calhoun Health Services Nursing Home in Calhoun City. Born January 6, 1925 in Calhoun City, she was the daughter of the late Robert Gray and the late Emma Morris Gray. She was the wife of the late Wallace Casey. She was retired from Calhoun Co Nursing Home. She was a member of Mt. Comfort Baptist Church.
Surviving are daughter, Shelia (John) Crump, Pittsboro; grandchildren, Blake (Stephanie) Crump, Calhoun City; Casey (Macon) LaFoe, Nesbit; great grandchildren, Trip LaFoe, Macey LaFoe, Katelyn Crump, Colin Crump, and Linley Metts. She was predeceased by son, Billy Keith Casey, sisters, Elenor Brown and Bobbie Bullard, great grand child, John Cohen Crump.
Her funeral service will be Friday at 4 p.m. at Parker Memorial Funeral Home Chapel with Bro. Scotty Bland officiating. Interment will be in Bruce Cemeter.
The family will receive friends Thursday from 5-7 p.m. at Parker Memorial Funeral Home, 476 hwy 9n, Bruce, Mississippi.
