Karen Ann Bell Norman, 73, of Big Creek died Sunday, June 21, 2015 at North MS Medical Center in Tupelo.  She was born October 22, 1941 in New Orleans, LA. She was the daughter of L.I. Bell and Lelia Stiller Bell. She was a retired bookkeeper and a member of Lewis Memorial United Methodist Church. She was a charter member of the Calhoun County Historical Society, serving in many capacities including president. She was also a former member of the Loosa Schoona Chapter of National Society of the Daughters of the American Revolution.

Visitation will be Tuesday, June 23, 2015 from 1 p.m. until time of her funeral service  at 3 p.m. at Pryor Funeral Home in Calhoun City. Funeral Service. Bro. Allen Dearing will be officiating, and burial will be in Chapel Hill Cemetery in Big Creek. Pallbearers will be James Gammill, Curtis Gammill, Mike Gammill, Scott Norman, Danny Joe Norman and Mike Norman.

She is survived by two daughters, Beverly (Johnny) Holder, Vardaman; Lisa (Mike) Gammill, West Point; sisters-in-law, Peggy Norman, Big Creek; Sandra Norman, Calhoun City; brother-in-law, Barney Norman, Big Creek; sister, Evelyn Crouch, Duck Hill, three grandchildren, James (Savannah) Gammill, Tupelo; Curtis Gammill, West Point, Michelle (Keith) Gaskin, Pittsboro and three great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband, Charles Daniel Norman and parents.
