Clay “Snoopy” Brown, 58, of Bruce, died Thursday, June 25, 2015, at North Mississippi Medical Center in Tupelo. Born May 1, 1957 in Bruce, he was the son of Homer Brown and Wilma Mills Brown. He was a member of Banner Baptist Church and a truck driver.
Surviving are his parents; son, Jeremy (Daraka) Brown, Calhoun City; brother, Lanny Brown, Bruce; sisters, Pam (Harold) Ward, Bruce, and Mitzi (Doug) Orlando, Banner; grandchildren, Conner Clayton Brown, Cohen Case Brown and Caynon Grason Brown.
The family will receive friends Saturday, June 27 from 5-8 p.m. at Parker Memorial Funeral Home. His funeral service will be Sunday at 2 p.m. at Parker Memorial Funeral Home Chapel with Bro. Jackie Douglas and Bro. Kevin Chrestman officiating. Interment will be in Bruce Cemetery. Pallbearers will be Jeff Barefield, Bryan Chrestman, Jacob Chrestman, Jon Ferguson, Joey Murphree, Mike Smith, Jeff Sullivan and Ricky Joe White. Honorary pallbearers will be Josh Bennett, Terry Joe Blount, Brant Davis, Buddy Davis, Ricky Smallwood, Bruce Farm Supply, Chrestman Farms and McGreger & Sons.
