Hulett “H.O.” Oswalt Moore, 85, passed away early Friday morning, August 7, 2015, at his home in the Enid Lake area. He was born October 27, 1929 to the late Hubert and Thresa Moore in Bellefontaine. He proudly served his country in the U.S. Navy. He was a retired truck driver employed with Matlack Chemical in Memphis.
His services were held at Sunday, August 9, at 3 p.m. in the Martin Willingham Memorial Chapel of Wells Funeral Home in Batesville. Interment was at Forrest Memorial Park with Military Honors.
Those left behind to cherish his memory include his wife, Carolyn Bullard Moore, Pope; six children, JoEllen (David) Doss, Calhoun City; Michael (Shelly) Moore, Calhoun City; Jeffery (Jamie) Moore, Hernando; Joy-Gale (Jeremy) Hankins, Pope; Kim Moore, and Jae-Rae Moore, Pope, and a host of grandchildren and great grandchildren. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by one son, Marcus Randal Moore; two brothers, Joe Reese and Jack Moore; two sisters, Mildred Stoddard and Georgia Moore, and two granddaughters Jerilyn and Amanda Moore.
