Bro. William R. ‘Dub’ Harrelson, 79, of Pittsboro, died Sunday, Nov. 3, 2013 at his home. He was born September 25, 1934 in Calhoun County, the son of Hollie Dean and Lorena Caulder Harrelson. He was retired from Central Bell after 19+ years. He was in the ministry for 40+ years pastoring at Singleton Baptist Church, Louisville; Sharon Baptist Church and Savannah Baptist Church, Savannah, Tn.; Phebe Baptist Church, and Mt. Comfort Church in Bruce for over 25 years. He enjoyed woodworking. Visitation will be Wednesday from 9 a.m. until time of the funeral service at 11 a.m. at Mt. Comfort Baptist Church in Bruce. Bro. Jimmy Wallace will be officiating and Bro. J.R. Eaton assisting. Burial will be in the church cemetery.?Pallbearers will be Randy Baker, David Braddock, Danny Harrelson,?Randy Mann, Terry Massey and Tim Sutherland. Grandsons will serve as honorary pallbearers.?Parker Memorial Funeral Home of Bruce will be in charge of arrangements.
