George Leonard McNeece, Jr, age 93, formerly of Raymond, MS passed away Sept. 24, 2013 at Hospice Ministries in Ridgeland.
He was born Sept. 2, 1920 in Polkville, MS to George Leonard McNeece, Sr. and Hilda Richardson McNeece. He was preceded in death by his wife of 58 years, Thelma Thompson McNeece.
He was a Navy veteran of World War II and retired as Farm Manager from Hinds Community College.
He is survived by daughter, Elizabeth Aldridge (Dan) of Bolton, MS; sons, Ken McNeece (Jackie) of Yuma, AZ and Larry McNeece (Lana) of Raymond, MS; grandchildren, Joel McNeece (Lisa) of Bruce, MS; Jeffry McNeece (Melanie) of Clinton, MS; Kevin McNeece (Christy) of Mobile, AL; Jason McNeece (Darcy) of Glendale, AZ; and nine great grandchildren.
Visitation will be 5-7 PM Thursday Sept. 26, 2013 at Wright & Ferguson Funeral Home in Raymond. A Graveside service will be held at 11 AM Friday Sept. 27, 2013 at the Polkville Cemetery in Polkville, Ms.
