Curtis Wayne Ellis, 74, went to his heavenly home Friday, June 10, 2016 at Baptist Memorial Hospital in Oxford. He was born July 25, 1941 in Slate Springs, the son of Rufus Ellis and Virginia Vance. He was a member of Bethany Baptist Church in Slate Springs.
Visitation will be Tuesday, June 14, from 5-8 p.m. at Pryor Funeral Home.
Funeral service will be Wednesday, June 15, at 11 a.m. at Pryor Funeral Home Chapel with Bro. Jimmy Vance officiating. Burial will be at Bethany Cemetery in Slate Springs. Pryor Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
He is survived by his wife Grace Ellis, Calhoun City; daughter, Tracey (Brandon) Miller, Southaven; son, Michael W. Ellis, Calhoun City; sister, Alma Dean (John) Kindle, Cascilla; eight grandchildren and one great-grandchild.
