Billy Keith Martin, 45, of Pittsboro, died Tuesday, July 26, 2016. Born December 26, 1970 in Oxford, he was the son of the late Billy Ray Martin and Evelyn Smith Martin. He was employed by Ashley Furniture and a member of Rocky Mount Baptist Church.
Surviving are his mother, Evelyn Smith Martin, Pittsboro; grandmother, Ella Mae Smith, Pittsboro; three sisters, Karen Prewett, Pittsboro; Tina (James) Foster, Vardaman, and Mistie (Josh) Reece, Bruce, and special friend, Sandra Swords, Pontotoc. He was preceded in death by his grandfather, Ralph Smith.
His funeral service will be Thursday at 11 a.m. at Faith Baptist Church with Bro. James Taylor officiating. Interment will be in Rocky Mount Cemetery in Pittsboro. Pallbearers will be James Foster, Logan Redwine, Tyler Redwine, Josh Reece, Chris Smith and Craig Smith.
The family will receive friends Wednesday from 5-8 p.m. Wednesday at Faith Baptist Church.
