Doris Lynn Tramel Harmon, 70, of New Albany, died March 20, 2014 at Golden Living Center in Tupelo. She was born February 29, 1944 in Lafayette County, the daughter of Hubert Richard Tramel and Ada Bernice Clifton Tramel. She attended cosmetology school, was a retired cosmetologist from Ritz, and was a member of New Albany Presbyterian Church. She was a loving mother and grandmother (Nana). Visitation will be Saturday from 10 a.m. until time of her graveside service at 11 a.m. at Bruce Cemetery. Bro. Steven Ewing will be officiating. Pallbearers will be Marshall Box, Marvin Brown, John Murphree, Billy Taylor and Ricky Tramel. Parker Memorial Funeral Home of Bruce will be in charge of arrangements. Survivors include one son, Britt Jackson, New Albany; four sisters, Mary (John) Frances, Columbus; Annie Grace (Bobby) Jenkins, Ward, AR; Emma Jean (Billy)?Taylor, Water Valley, and Rhonda Dee Murphree , Pontotoc; one brother, Ricky Tramel, Bruce; four grandchildren, Ethan, Marley, Dylan, and Nicholas Jackson, and a host of nieces and nephews.
