Kathy Brummett

Kathy Brummett, 66, of Pittsboro, died Wednesday, Dec. 10, 2014, at Sanctuary Hospice House   in Tupelo. Born December 1, 1948 in Webster County, the daughter of Ruble and Nora Allred Collins. She was a graduate of East Webster High School, had previously worked at Kellwood Garment Company and had owned and operated a restaurant.Her last employment was Calhoun Health Services.  She was a member of Old Town Baptist Church.
Surviving are son, Dean (Wendy) Brummett, Pittsboro; daughter, Lisa (Gary) Schmitz,  Pittsboro; grandchildren, Amber Schmitz, Tyler Brummett, Tanner Brummett, Aubrey Schmitz, Tyler Davis and Brandon Davis; great gandchildren, Ada Lee Falkner and Rylee Davis; brothers, Danny Collins, Memphis, and Ricky Collins, Eupora; sister, Shirley Henley, Mathiston; aunt, Patsy Smith, Calhoun City, and special angel,  Jackie Russell of Pittsboro. She was preceded in death by her husband, Johnny Brummett.
A funeral service will be at 11 a.m. Friday at Parker Memorial Funeral Home Chapel with Bro. Darrell Logan officiating. Interment will be in Old Town Cemetery in Pittsboro.

Pallbearers will be Tanner Brummett, Tyler Brummett, Wade Henley, Dalton Russell, Aubrey Schmitz, Justin Vaughn, Kenneth Walls, and Joe Youngblood.
