Betty Miller

Betty Jean Pittman Miller,   58, passed away July 2, 2015 at   St. Joseph Hospital in Milwaukee, WI. She was born September 19, 1957 in Calhoun County to Willie G (Jank) Pittman and Eddie Mae Dukes Pittman. She received her formal education at Calhoun City High School. She moved to Milwaukee in the early 1980’s. She was saved and baptized at a young age. She had Christian beliefs which she instilled into her children and grandchildren. She was a valued member at Greater Love Missionary Baptist Church in Milwaukee.

Services were July 8 at Paradise Memorial Funeral Home in Milwaukee  at 1 p.m.

She leaves to cherish her memory, her two children, Nancy Pittman and Qwname “Quency” ( Shakeda) Miller;  four grandchildren, Patrice, Trenise, Lauryn and London, all of Milwaukee; four brothers, Charles (Mableen) Pittman; James Eve Pittman, Calhoun City; Willie Ed Pittman, Grenada, and William Earl (Chequilla) Pittman, Vardaman, and three sisters, Ora Jean Pittman Kilgore, Houston; Eddie Pittman and Marie Pittman, Milwaukee, and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and dear friends.

She was preceded in death by her parents; her daughter, Tiana Pittman; two sisters Ada Gwen and Vera Lee Pittman; a brother, Howard Earl “Punky” Dukes.
